multi-page TIFF images in Word 2000

Apparantly the image filter in Word 2000 will not import multi-page TIFFs, it
will only import the first page if there is more than one page.
Does anyone know of a solution to overcome this obstacle? I have an
application that merges variables from a database into Word RTFs, and I need
to be able to merge variables that include multi-page TIFF files. Is this
issue solved in a more recent version of Word?

Thank you.

Hi Alicia,

Office XP (Word 2002) and Office 2003 (Word 2003)
include the MS Office Document Imaging application
that can separate the images from Multipage TIFFs
and then 'send' them to Word. You can also do it
through Windows/Eastman/Wang/Kodak Imaging
as well as a number of 3rdparty products in the
graphics apps type, including http://www.irfanview.com
but Word itself does not have the ability to
'see' other than the top image in the TIFF stack.
