Multiple Actions for Multiple Conditions and a Single Button

Hello.

I would like to have the value of a field changed based on multiple
conditions. That is there are multiple actions based on multiple conditions
that would set the value of a field. For example:

Condition 1
CA Response = Yes and CA Valid = True, then CA Status = CA Completion
Notification

Condition 2
CA Response = Yes and CA Valid = False, then CA Status = CA Verification and
Close

Condition 3
CA Response = No and CA Valid = True, then CA Status = CAR Response

On a single click of the button, I need the application to run through each
of the conditions and make the desired adjustment to the CA Status field.
What is the best way to do this? I've set a single rule with multiple
conditions and multiple actions, but this doesn't seem right. I'm thinking I
should set three separate rules for a single button in order to update the CA
Status field with the correct value.

Thank you for your help,

I've set up three rules based on one of the fields. Is this ideal? This
ignores the command button completely.

You should be able to have three rules which each would have on of your
conditions sets witht he action to set the CA Status to the cooresponding
entry.
These rules could be on a button or on one or both of the fields, whatever
works for your flow.
