Multiple Calendar and Contact Folders Appearing

In Outlook 2003 I have a user where multiple calendar and contact folders
keep appearing. I thought it may be because of delegate rights, so I deleted
the user's delegates. Then I went in and deleted the 2 extra calendars and
the 2 extra contacts folders. I then closed Outlook and reopened. As soon
as the user did a hot synch the folders all reappeared.

Any ideas what may be causing this occurrence of the additional folders?

Seems to be caused by your "hot synch" - what are you using? Sounds like
it's misconfigured or doesn't work right with OL2003 or something....hard to
say with so little info to go on.

The user has a Palm 515, and the HotSync is the method by which he syncs it
to his calendar, contacts, e-mail, etc. It is not a wireless PDA, and it
therefore does not "sync" with my computer "on the fly" like a Blackberry.
It sits in a charging cradle next to my computer, and it "syncs" only when he
pushes a button on the cradle. I believe that the latest version of the
software is HotSync Manager 4.0.1.

I would imagine he has to be using a third party Outlook sync conduit like
PocketMirror or Intellisync....check there.
