Multiple Criteria in same Column

I am using the criteria area and advance filter to sort to types of
information from the same column. I have added an additional column to my
criteria area to represent the 2nd set of information I need from the same
column. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

My inexperience is really showing...I am embarrased.

I will try again...

I have a table with an age column (among other columns), I want to use the
Advance Filtering option and created a criteria area. I copied the entire
table heading to the area and created a criteria field. I have to columns
labeled "age"
in the first age column I entered <21 and in the second age column <25. I
want the filter to give me the information for everyone <21 and then everyone
<25. I have been successful in getting the <21 information extracted,
however, the <25 is not showing up in the extracted area. My problem is 21<
age <25 and I am learning how to use excel to extract data. Thank you for
your patience and assistance.

I might be missing something, but .....if you get everyone under age
25...won't that include everyone under age 21, too?

If you share what you want to do with the information (how you want to use
it) maybe we can come up with something to help you solve your problem.

I wish I knew how to share more info with you!

I have a total of 10 records, the age column gives ages from 19 to 26 and
the instructions say to extract the records that meet the following criteria:
21< Age <25. (That's exactly how it is written). I should have a total of
four records meeting the criteria. Here is my table with list records
included.

You don't need the Advanced Filter to do that. You can just use the
AutoFilter.

Select the Age column
Select Custom
Is greater than 21
And
Is less than 25
OK

In one Age column, the criterion is: >21
In the other Age column, the criterion is: <25
Because the criteria are both on the same row, it will filter for
records with Age greater than 21 AND less than 25.

I now know more! I wanted the criteria to provide me with the everyone
between 21 and 25; I failed to add an additional "age" coluumn to the table
area, I added it in the criteria area only. Lesson learned always copy the
table heading to create the Criteria Area that way you will make sure you
have added any columns to the data for the criteria to search. Thank you for
trying to help me.

You cleared the first hurdle for getting help: You ASKED for the help.
