Multiple D-Lists within a D-List

I have a Main D-List that contains about 20 additional D-Lists. If a contact
e-mail is wrong with-in the additional lists, will that cause the main d-list
not to send out an e-mail?

Assuming Internet addresses, what should happen is that mail will be sent to
all the addresses except the incorrect address, which will be rejected
either by your SMTP router (if you have an incorrect domain) or by the
destination domain's router (if you have an incorrect username). Outlook
has no idea whether or not any address in a distribution list is correct and
simply does what its told.

Any ideas as to why my D-list will not send to everyone? It will only send
to 2 of the lists within it.
