I'm having a problem with Outlook downloading messages multiple times, that
is, messages I downloaded yesterday are downloaded again today.
Since I receive mail on 2 different computers, I have Outlook configured to
leave a copy of messages on the server. It's also configured to remove
messages from the server after 2 days or when deleted from 'Deleted Items'.
This configuration worked for a long time. Occasionally, messages would be
downloaded a second time, but it was rare. Now, it happens regularly.
I'm running WinXP Pro on both computers that are configured this way, but I
don't know if that's relevant.
Does anyone know why this happens and how to prevent it?
