Multiple files problem

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to W2000 and Office 2000, when I selct
multiple files in windows explorer and hit enter, Excel
opens each in a separate window as per XP however when I
look at the window menu there isn't a list of all the
files I have opened - unlike XP, NT etc, it's as if every
file has been opened in a separate Excel program and so
makes copying worksheets and data from one to another
difficult.

Do I need to double click on one of the registry update
files to enable Excel to communicate with itself?

Many thanks for any advice,

Regards

Colin.

If launching multiple files from Explorer is opening multiple instances of
Excel you can fix that by re-registering Excel. From Start->Run enter
"Excel.exe /regserver" without quotes. There is a space before the slash.
If the Office installer starts up just cancel it.
