multiple level of layout in an merge (regrouping)

Hy!

I'd like to do a merge from an excel or access file with a word document.
In this document, I will have a name of a company as header of a table
(layout1) and below, all the products of this company (layout 2) and below
when I have reached the end of the products from the company 1, I will have
the layout 1 with the name of the second company and so on. Is it
understandable ??

Access permit this kind of regrouping but I'd like to use word as merge
software

Thanks in Advance

Steph

Sorry for my poor English ;-)

Hi Sla,

Take a look at the "Special Merges" section of my website's mail merge FAQ.
You'll find a short discussion about the three basic approaches available,
with links to examples.

Hi Sla,

I'm not sure to what you're referring, exactly, but you certainly don't
HAVE to go to a new page... If you're looking at the example in the KB
article keep in mind that it is an example. It shows the basic principle
(how to use the fields), but you can put the elements together however you
wish.
