Multiple Masters

I have a presentation with slides pulled from a number of different files.
When I checked the master I notcied there was a large amount of master
slides. It seems when they were pasting in slides and selecting use source
template it was creating an additional master for each paste. My question is
how many master slides can PPT handle before it has problems if any?

Fritz78,
In PowerPoint 2002/2003 you should be able to add up to 128 Masters and if
necessary 128 associated title masters.
