Multiple Presentations

Jon

Good Morning,
I am trying to create a user interactive presentation for a display at a
convention. The first presentation I have setup goes thru and shows exciting
new abilities then the last slide before it loops is a list of abilities that
you can click on and it will take you to presentation #2 which has 2
animations then a link to go back to the last slide of presentation #1 and
this seems to work well, however if another view comes in and clicks on the
same link presentation #2 will not reset and the animations will all be over.
How can I set it so my hyperlink back to presentation #1 also resets
presentation #2 for the next user??

Thank you
Jon

If you are using PowerPoint 2003, update to the latest service pack.
Alternately, create a dummy slide before the actual slide you are going to
link to. Click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Set to advance automatically
(00:00).
Now, when you hyperlink, link it to the dummy slide.

Instead of having presentation #2 link back to presenation #1, have it
use Action Settings to hyperlink to End Show. This should solve your
problem.
