Multiple profiles

After installing WinXP Professional on an HP/Compaq PIV/2.6 GHZ with 512 meg and configuring Outlook XP with multiple profiles and setting to prompt for a profile, everything works fine. I install all security patches and updates, including SP1, then I am unable to access any of the profiles chosen. I can logon, for example as myself and access my profile after changing the logon network security to "Password Authentication" from "none"

Please let me know if there is a solution for this problem.
