If you mean that multiple project managers will manage the project, with one
manager per section of tasks, and with each manager receiving and processing
his/her own task updates from team members, then yes, it can be done.
Before you attempt this, however, you will need to set permissions so that
all of the project managers involved can open the project Read-Write. Once
you've done this, here's how to do it:
1. The primary PM should open the project first
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
3. Save and close the project
4. Each of the other PM's should open the project one at a time
5. Select the tasks which he/she will be managing
6. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments...
7. Select "Selected tasks" from the "Republish Assignments For:" drop-down
list
8. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments" option
9. Click OK
10. Save and close the project
Once this process has been completed, task updates will be directed to the
correct project manager for each task assignment. That's how to do it.
Hope this helps.
