Multiple (text) criteria in a "countif" function??

Hello folks -

I'm trying to set up a formula to count the number of times it says
"A" in Column L, but ONLY IF it also says "Red" in the same record, in
column K.

Help??

Was hoping some sort of If Then formula existed and I just didn't know
it...

Appreciate all responses..

The Sumproduct() is an excellent function to "count" as it
creates an array (on the fly) and works with True (1) and False (0);
It's a very powerful function. Go to Google (below), and or Help
and study up on; It is the answer to many common problems you
will encounter..
