Multiple use license ?

I which to purchase an older version of MS Office 2003 (to save $$), but want
to purchase (a legitamate) one that allows me to install the product on
multiple PCs. I do not know what this version (type of license) would be
called ? Does the term "Enterprise" indicate it is a multiple install
license ?

I have seen many listings on Ebay. If a sellers claims of the item being
"Never opened" is true, am I assured the product would be installable and
able to be updated via MS update site ? I have seen some people buy stolen
versions, with some sort of mutilple install product key, and be able to
install it - but never update it since the install key was likely shared with
1000s of people. I obviously dont want to go that route.

Are there reputable businesses that sell older Office versions - that were
perhaps bought from companies going out of business .... can anyone recommend
any ?

Multiple PC's? that depends on how many you actually mean, and whether you
mean for use, at the same time, by many individuals.
There are licences available for 5 seperate installations, as a starting
point.
These are more likely to be supplied by software distributors, as apposed to
the standard online shopping sites.
You are unlikely to get such legitamate software on Ebay

I meant ~3-5 different PCs, NOT used simulataneously. Is there a name for
the multiple installation licenses ?

Thanks

There are Microsoft Volume Licensing programs, such as Open Business, that have an initial purchase requirement of 5 licenses (not
all need to be Office products), but not all come with 'downgrade' (prior version) provisions. You may want to review the
information on
http://microsoft.com/licensing and phone one of the MS licensing specialists for your scenario.
