Multiple Users Adding Tasks to a Project

W

Warren

Hello,

I'm looking to set up a project where multiple users can add tasks.
From what I have read, it is not possible to allow all users of the
project to approve tasks. However, can somebody provide instructions
(or a link to a tutorial) on how to set up a project that allows non-
owners to submit tasks to the PM for approval? I would also like to
know if there is a tutorial on the process of actually submitting
these task requests.

I'm fairly new to Project Server, so any information would be greatly
appreciated.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks in advance!

Here is a direct link to downloadable books for Project Server 2007. The
most comprehensive

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc197298.aspx

Also, Gary and Dale are both MVP's that respond to these newsgroups and they
are authors of very comprehensive books on administering and managing
projects for 2003 and 2007. Below is a link to their book that I found. I
have heard from others that these books are very useful and easy to follow.
And just so you are aware, I have no affiliation with these guys whatsoever.

Are you referring to MSPS 2003 or MSPS 2007? Regardless, there are
administration and user guides available from
thehttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/website.

Jonathan

It's MSPS 2007. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Warren,

I have a document I found that is specific to My Work and task updates for
2007. If you send me an email address to reach you at, I can forward it to
you.
