John,

I think you want to edit in two sheets at the same time?

One way is to select the two tabs and then just enter your information.

For example, if you wanted to edit tabs 1 and 2. Select both tabs. Now
begin entering your information, making format changes etc. to Tab 1. Tab 2
is automatically changed as well.

I hope this help.

Thank you for your input. What I am trying to do is to open two windows

other one.

John,

You don't need to have two windows open to simultaneously edit to two
sheets. You can just open ONE window, select the TWO tabs of interest, and
then begin making your changes.

But if you wanted to, you could have two windows open.

For example, at the present time I have two windows open, tiled
horizontally.

In the Top Window, I have selected THREE sheets, with Sheet1 visible (Sheet
1 lies on top of the other two active sheets). Any changes I make to Sheet1
will simulaneously be made to Sheets1-3. All three sheets are edited at the
same time. [If I wanted to, I could select Sheet2 to be the visible sheet,
with Sheet1 and Sheet3 hidden beneath it.]

In the Lower Window, I am viewing Sheet 2.

If I chose to close the Lower Window, it would have NO effect on my editing
three sheet simultaneously.

In your case, you want to edit 2 sheets together. You can either use one
window or two windows. The "trick" is to ensure that you have selected two
sheets (tabs) before you begin your edits.

I hope that helps.

Kevin

My pleasure.

One final note, if you want to create create a duplicate sheet, you can
either edit two sheets, as we have discussed.

Or you can simply copy the sheet. For example, make your changes on Sheet1.
When you are finished, simply control + select Sheet1, and then drag it to a
new location, say between Sheet2 And Sheet3. You will then have Sheet1,
Sheet2, Sheet1 (2), Sheet3. By right mouse clicking on the sheet tab, you
can rename it.

Glad I could help.

Kevin
