multiply hours and £

Can anyone tell me how i could multiply 05:30 * £10.25
the answer should be £56.38 but I get £2.35. Many thanks

Sam,

The reason for Frank's solution is that time is stored as a fraction of 1
day. For instance, 8 hours is stored as .3333. That is why you need to
multiply by 24 to get the decimal hours.
