MultiUser access to MS Access DB

Kindly assist with the problem I’m facing.

I have an Access 2003 Database that resides on a server running Windows 2000
Server SP4. The Users connecting to the DB run Win XP SP2 on their machines
and Office 2003.

I have to set of Users: the first set are connected on the same LAN. The 2nd
set, however reside in offices about 17km from the server and are connected
to the server through a Wireless radio connection.

If any one of the 1st set opens the DB first, none of the users iin the 2nd
set can open the DB.

Thanks.

All users of the database need read, write, create, and delete permissions to
the folder where the database file is located. Not just the mdb files but the
entire folder.

Access does not run well on wireless networks. The database can become
corrupted easily. You could create Data Access Pages and let the remote users
interact with the database through a web browser. Or use a terminal program.

IThanks. I have already assigned "full control" rights to each user but I
still encounter the same problem.
