hi there..


i am trying a databae/ form to be opened by 40 users simultaneusly


but it is not working for more then 10 can some tell me y is that and what
is th e solutions.

every thing is by default no default setting haes beeen changed

brother, thanks for ur reply but i discovered that , windows XP sahred folder
cannot work on more than 10 users.. so it is useless to work on it, wat do u
say...pls tell me if u 've ne other idea

I think you are talking about a Win XP peer-to-peer network. Earlier Windows
peer-to-peer networks were also limited. In both cases, the answer is to not
use peer-to-peer, but set up a client server network. With Win XP Pro on the
clients, and Win 2000 Server or Win 2003 Server, the users will log into a
domain on the Server, and you can have many more than 10 users for a shared
folder.

Hi. Im trying to solve a problem that is relationed but not the same with
the argument of this message. The cuestion is that I work with Access to
develop third tie in small works, but working with transactions from VB and
ADO, the concurrecy of more than 2 users in the same operation (new
registry, for example) not allow me to continue.
Exists some way to solve this?
