Music background

W

wondering

I would like to have a continuous music background on my website that doesn’t
stop when the viewer moves to a new page.
Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

When you navigate to another page, the music will start over.

A work around could be to divide your page into at least 2 frames. Assign
the music to the main frame (example - navigation menu). Then when you click
to change the page, the main page does not change, just the other frame page
changes and the music is not interupted.

Hope this helps

I know this isn't what you asked, but you might want to reconsider that
goal. A lot of users will turn off music on a web site pretty quickly, or if
they can't turn it off, will leave the site, because they already have music
playing, or just don't feel like listening to someone else's choice of
music. Web sites that function like TV commercials don't go over well,
because people are accustomed to being in charge on the internet, rather
than passive. Just a thought! :)

Thanks for the responses
I’ll try your solution Michael and see how it turns out.
I should have mentioned that this is not for a commercial site; just a fun
thingy.
