Music in my PPT show can't be heard on most computers

I have created a presentation with music and then burned it onto an
(audio/data) CD. Unfortunately, the music in the show can't be heard on most
computers. I can hear it on my home computer which runs Windows XP Home
Edition, but not on my computer at work, which runs Windows XP Professional
Edition.

On my laptop, I downloaded the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, which allowed me to
see the show, but I still didn't get the sound. What is the trick to hearing
the sound on all computers?

I am having the same issue. I did a Christmas cd for my son's teacher and
used Christmas font, but when I tried to Pack&Go or save it as a PPS, neither
the font or music would come over. I have burned way too many CD's trying to
get this presenation to work without her having to download the fonts and
music to her pc. What am I doing wrong?

Did you read through the links that Glen provided? Those will address your
problem with the music files.

For the fonts you need to embed the fonts when you save the presentation in
PowerPoint. Not all fonts can be embedded, so you'll have to do some reading
and research:
