Music not playing in 'transfered' PPS

I know that this is a frequently discussed topic, but this is (I think) a
different question on the same theme. Most of the reasons why sound doesn't
play when a presentation is moved from one computer to another is because
the 'fully qualified' path to the original sound file doesn't match the
location of the sound file on the new computer. If we could (1) have
permission to rename the path to the sound file or (2) delete the path
altogether, and just have PP look for the file in the same folder as the
presentation, life would be so much better. Is there a way to modify or
remove the path to the sound file?? I cannot find a way to edit it.

Thanks

Roy

Roy,

I built an add in that does pretty much everything you suggest as well as
handling the email itself. Have a look here and see if this might be what
your looking for:

Your also going to want to look at FixLinks from fellow MVP Steve R.

Either of these should be able to provide you a good solution.
