Music on a powerpoint presentation

D

duanel.3

I cannot get music from my itunes application to my powerpoint
presentations. I go to Insert->Movies and sounds->Sound from file-
itunes music->Valdres march (the song I want to apply to my
powerpoint)->I double click on that file and a box "Insert Sound"
appears with valdres march as as option, but the Insert button greyed
out->I click on "Find File..." and double click->Search I type in
vladres march and click OK-> "Building File List..." comes up and a
black and white ball spins slowly for a few minutes. A message comes
up Files found: 4 and valdres march appears 4 times, typically buried
under Music, itunes, itunes music, Arthur Fiedler and Boston #1057,
Stars and Stripes Forever #105, etc. The Insert button is lit. I click
on it. and I get the notice: PowerPoint couldn't insert a sound from
the selected file. I get that sign for almost every song I try to
attach.

I can get two songs from my files to go on to PowerPoint. They both
have the .WAV tag after their names. I tried converting Valdres March
to .WAV, but it still won't attach to a PowerPoint presentation.

What am I doing wrong?

Most iTunes songs have digital rights management that prevents certain
kinds of copying, including putting into PowerPoint presentations.
