Music Stops at slide 2 but plays continuously 2nd time through

This is odd - I have inserted .wav file and set it to continue play for 16
slides. When I start the show from .pps file, the music starts at slide 1
which is good. When it advances to slide 2, the music stops. THEN... when
the slideshow finishes, I click mouse to run slideshow again, and then the
music plays beautifully for all slides. What am I doing wrong?? This is so
bizarre... THANK YOU for helping me!!

Which version of PPT, and what settings did you apply for the sound file in
its custom animation settings?

I'm using PowerPoint 2000 SR-1.
I've tried this many ways. The latest approach is to insert .wav and setup
custom animation so that it begins automatically, continues for 16 slides,
and loops until stopped. The new twist is that I'm running the .pps file
from the think.com website. This does work properly from the desktop. I
will ask the think.com folks next.

You have to set up your sound differently for web. See
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00303.htm for some options.

Hi again... I went out to the rdpslides.com site. I think I'm really dumb!!
I'm using a webserver set up for schools called think.com (from Oracle).
I'm able to upload files to the webserver. I'm just uploading and
referencing my .pps file and everything works fine - except the music won't
play all the way through until the show repeats a 2nd time. I'm not
referencing any html code and I don't think I have to save as web page.

Do I still have to do the suggestions in the rdpslides.com site?

Ahhhh. Then I'm not sure what the deal is. How big is your sound file? Maybe
it's just taking a long time to stream over the network....

Did the think.com folks have any fixes for you?
