MV outline codes edit in Web Access

I understand that when a multi-value field is created, once data is
entered a second field is created with the "-MV" designator. When I
create a view, that field is shown in the view. The problem is that
when I click on edit to edit that resource in Project Web, the field
that is displayed is the original MV field (not the one with the
designator). So when the info is changed and saved, it is not
displayed in the view.

Question - how do I get -MV field to display; both on the view and the
detail?

I would recommend that you edit the resource by opening the Enterprise
Resource Pool in Microsoft Project Professional. This gives you complete
control over the process. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale. I understand that it works well when we edit in
Professional. It's just that we wanted this resource information
edited on the web to avoid the need and effort to do local setup and
training on Professional just to get a few phone numbers and other
demographic info updated.

All the best.

I understand your need, but the MV functionality you seek in PWA is simply
not available. It has to be done in Microsoft Project Professional. Sorry.
