MVP site check with Mac & Netscape?

C

Clark

Any of you MVP's that can do a site check with a Mac and netscape 7.1?

I have a client with a login problem that I cant replicate.

OK, well this requires giving you a username and password so I didnt
post the details here. I will email both Murray and Jon the url and the
username, password to see if you can replicate the problem, and if so,
hopefully provide some insight.

If for some reason your posted email addresses arent active, please
contact me using:
cnkurtzATownertrades.com (@ for AT).

Thanks for your assistance.

Murray I tried unsuccessfully sending you an email with the url and a
password so you could check the site. Please send me an email to me at
cnkurtzATownertrades.com (replace AT with @) so I can send them to you.

Thanks

Jon I think I successfully sent you an email with the url and a password
so you could check the site. If you did not get that, please send an
email to me at cnkurtzATownertrades.com (replace AT with @) so I can
send them to you.

Thanks

Clark

Well, I dont mind giving out the URL here, but no one can test the login
for me without the password. And I really cant give out the login
password in a public forum.

So, I guess I'm stuck if there is no way to privately email someone here.

Have you considered allowing another user/password for a few days so the
guys can get in? Then you can remove it.

Wes, thanks for the thought. This particular site was set up as a
subweb with one password for all, and the pw has to be set by my
hoster. Actually, I dont even know if they can set up a second temporary
pw for me.

I found an acquaintance of mine with a Mac who is willing to download
Netscape 7.1 and give it a try, so am gonig to see how that goes as a
next step. If he can login ok, then I will be pretty sure that my
website member has some unique problem with her computer / network setup.

If he cant login, I will be able to get more specific intormation about
what exactly goes wrong, with which to return to this august group.
