MW2K will only let me accept or reject all

After making changes I go to accept or reject changes and the entire document
is highlighted. I have the options of accept or reject...or accept all or
reject all...either way it will either accept all or change all because the
whole document is highlighted...how can I get it to let me make changes one
at a time?
