my at button on keyboard

hi,

my (at button) on the keyboard is no longer working, when I press shift and
the at button the following appears "

How can I reset the key on the keyboard. Have tried autocorrect etc, but
the problem is on every program. signing into hotmail was a nightmare. I had
to paste an (at)

Ensure that your keyboard language is correct.. go to Control Panel -
Regional and Language - Languages - Details to check..
