My Calendar has stopped accepting new appointments, gives error

My Outlook 2003 suddenly refuses to accept new appointments and a dialog box
appears with "Could not save item - OK". How do I fix this?

Clear your forms cache. Tools->Options->Other->Advanced->Custom Forms->Manage.
