My clip art is gone.

I used to have thousands of options under "Clip Art," and now I'm lucky if I
have 10. Does anyone know what I might have done to delete my clip art, and
how I might get it back?

What program has thousands of options? What version of Office are you using? Do you
have the Gallery or the Organizer?

Okay, so I didn't sit and actually count the available pictures (though I'm
sure there were thousands); the point is that they're gone and I'm wondering
if I can get them back.
It came as part of my Microsoft Word. I don't believe I have the Gallery or
the Organizer.

Clip Gallery was included with Office 2000 and earlier........
Clip Organizer iss included with Office XP, 2003........

Thank you for the clarification - I'm still a computer novice. I believe I
must have Clip Organizer. Any idea how to retrieve my clip art?

If you have Clip Organizer then launch it from Start | All Programs |
Microsoft Office | Microsoft Office Tools | Clip Organizer.....

After launching Clip Organizer from the Tools Menu Select Compact....

I followed your steps, but it didn't seem to work - same handful of pictures
I've gotten for the last few days, and not the very large selection I had.

I tried your suggestion again, and with a couple added steps, I've managed to
retrieve ALL of my clip art. Thank you SO much!!

Mine is also gone. I went into Clip Organizer and Compact, but still
nothing. HELP!

A couple of things to try:
Empty your temporary cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete, delete files.

Your catalog maybe corrupt.
Rename your Mstore10.mgc file to Mstore10.old.
It is in a folder similar to this (XP)
C:\Documents and Settings\<<user name>>\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip
Organizer
Vista
C:\Users\<<user name>>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer
