My deleted items do not store in my recycle bin

everytime i delete a file or folder it normally goes straight to recycle bin
so i can restore it if necessary. however now it automatically deletes. i do
not have the boxed ticked in properties which says delete automatically.
please can someone help me !!

One thing you could try is to check the box to delete automatically, reboot
and then clear the box. These steps may overwrite whatever setting is
causing your problem. Else, try posting your question to a newsgroup for
your version of Windows.
