Hi Billy,
When you right click on your desktop and choose Properties and then the Desktop tab the 'Position' setting allows three choices
Center - Keep the original picture size, at center desktop
Tile - Repeat the original picture as needed to fill the desktop
Stretch - Enlarge the selected picture to have one copy fill the desktop.
If your picture is a portrait (tall) one being stretched on a landscape (wide) desktop, the stretch choice can look odd.

some pics I choose for my desktop appear as the originals.
others are automatically multiplied as 6 identical images of the same photomost of the time a single image appears, but stretched
like a fun-house mirror... how do I prevent this? thanks everybody>>
