My dictionary does not appear

I recently purchased the Student Edition of Office '03. For some reason,
under tools>research, my only options are various thesauri and the
translation. I really need to access the dictionary & the encyclopedia. Is
there a patch for this? I am at a lost as to remedy this.

First, try clicking on "Research Options" in the Research task pane and make
sure that "Encarta Dictionary" and "Encarta Encyclopeia" are checked.

If that doesn't work, then put your Office 2003 installation CD in the
CD-ROM drive and run Setup. That should give you an option to add and remove
features from Office 2003. Select that option, and then make sure that
Office Shared Features \ Proofing Tools \ English is set to "Run all from my
computer." Then, click Next and complete the installation.
