My Direct Reports isn't a view, it is a category. Categories are associated
with views, so you'll need to create a resource view, associate it with the
My Direct Reports category, and then by selecting the view you'll be able to
see the resources as defined in the My Direct Reports category.

Thanks. Let me try to word it this way... I am a manager and I have 4
direct reports. When I login to PWA, what is the easiest way for me to see
the work that my 4 direct reports are working on?

But is there an easy way for a Resource Manager to login to the main PWA
screen to see the tasks that are assigned to his direct reports? The only
way that I know how is to go into Resource Center and then filter on his
direct reports. I would like this to jump out to the Manager on his initial
login.

No, it's not going to jump out to him. Create a view in the resource centre
that is pre filtered on his RBS.
