my distribution list doesn't work, help

I have created them using the instructions. I can see it in my contacts, but
when i try to email the AZ for example, it says it does not recognize the
name. what am i doing wrong

translate it, realizing that you're the only one who could possibly know
what you did.
You've provided no clear information. List the steps you are using precisely
and what happens. Include your Outlook version and what you mean by "the
instructions."
