MY email account sent mail to a user i do not know

My work email address sent mail to an unknown user
i do not know or have this persons address in my account
how can this have happened

You probably meant to post this in one of the Outlook groups but keep in
mind that email spoofing (where an outside party sends spam with your
address as the From address) is commonplace and untreatable.
