My Entourage Was Deleted With the New Update

Last night I installed the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.4.0 Update. After rebooting the computer Entourage was nowhere to be found on the computer! I ran the update on two different Mac's last night. Same result. Entourage was deleted. There is an empty space in my applications folder where it was previously located.

Thankfully, the Entourage files seem to still be present on the hard drive.

Just to be clear...in your Applications folder, the entire Office folder was
deleted, or just the Entourage application?

I always suggest stuffing the Office folder before updating in case things
go wrong.

At least your Microsoft User Data folder wasn;t touched.

Just Entourage. All the other applications remained in the Office folder. But where Entourage had been - now it's just an empty space (icon view).

No matter. I updated to Office 2008. Now all is well, but it was a major scare!
