My excel no longer displays the modification date when I hover on

Excel modification display

Previously when I hovered my curser over a file when it is in the list mode,
it would show the date it was last modified, now it just shows the type of
file and the file size. Cannot be sure but it may have disapeared when I did
the Office Update.
How can I get it back
