B Barb Reinhardt May 11, 2007 #3 You may have something in code for a workbook you are using that turns it off. To turn it on, you can do the following, but this is no guarantee that it won't be turned back off by other code: Alt F11 CTRL G Enter this in the IMMEDIATE window. Application.OnKey "{f2}"

P PCLIVE May 11, 2007 #4 Try going to Tools-Options and then the Edit tab. Make sure there is a check in 'Edit directly in cell'. Even with that unchecked, the F2 function still works, but it places your blinking cursor in the address bar and not the cell itself. S Sometimes I need assistance... May 11, 2007 #5 Thank you for the reply but, it is actually all my function keys I turned off. It should be something simple like 'ctrl' 'alt' 'some other key' Any ideas?
