my graphics don't show up in the work space...Help

I am having trouble with my powerpoint 2003. The graphics don't show up in
the workspace. I have opened several presentations- all of the graphics are
on the side bar, but I can't see them in the workspace. I have checked every
setting that I know to check. Can anybody help?

Did you install Service Pack 2 for Office 2003? That should solve the
problem. If not, please check your graphics card driver.
