my incoming emails have stopped appearing

Being a very basic computer user I need a bit of help - I have somehow
managed to change a setting on outlook so when I am sent an email it doesn't
appear unless I hit the send/receive button - any advice would be greatly
appreciated!

What version of Outlook are you using? You might have changed the scheduled
send/receive settings by accident
