My keyboard shortcuts go away; come back on relaunch

After working in Entourage, I lose the ability to use keyboard
shortcuts. The one I notice most is simply the ability to delete a
message when it is highlighted by pressing "delete." If I quit
Entourage and relaunch it, all is well-- for a while.

Any help in preventing this problem will be appreciated.

I have the same problem from time to time, though since buying a new
computer and reinstalling everything I notice that it doesn't happen too
much anymore. I suspect this is a documented issue.

Question: Do you find that only certain types of emails cannot be deleted
when the symptom appears, i.e., plain text or HTML -- or doesn't it matter?

I haven't been documenting this, but I don't think it matters. I'll
keep an eye out from now on.

Are you using any third-party apps that might be causing this? For
example, iListen is known to cause it. So, you'd be looking for
something similar - something that tries to do deep voodoo to manipulate
menus and shortcuts. m.

Have you applied the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 1 (11.1.0)?
This update fixed the loss of keyboard shortcuts.
