My laptop briefly loses power when I start it, why?

Whenever I start my computer all is fine and suddenly it beeps like it lost
power for a millisecond. Is it normal?

1 beep on startup is good....As long as you are not getting a sequence of
beeps then you are ok....The links below will provide you some info on the
