my menus and toolbars are all missing

Somehow all my menus and toolbars are missing in word so
I can no longer save, print, edit, anything. How can I
restore them? I can send a screen capture if that will
help.

week of no working Word application, I was getting

Note, however, that if you had taken the time to learn some keyboard
shortcuts, you would have been able to save (Ctrl+S), print (Ctrl+P), etc.
