You may need to call your computer mfg or look in your computer manuals to
see how to restore applications. If, as JoAnn was getting at, you purchased
Office with your computer and it came already installed, the Office setup
files may be on a partition on your computer or included in the system
restore CDs.
You might also try asking the computer mfg to supply you with regular Office
installation CDs. I don't know if they will or not, but others here might.
Or it might depend on the mfg....

It says required installation file cannot be found.

Did you pay extra for Office or are you running a trial version and it's
now
expired? Specifically what does the error message say?

We don't have any CD's because it was already set up on the computer as
part
of the package. No one ever uninstalled it as far as I know.

Did you or someone else uninstall Office? Have you tried re-installing
it
with your CDs?

One day I had Microsoft Office 2003 and next thing I knew I could no
longer
open any documents. Everytime I try to open something a message pops
up
saying I need to re-install Office 2003. The problem is that it came
with
the
computer I did not buy it separatly, so I'm not sure how to get
around
that.
