My motherboard had to be replaced and I can't access email

My motherboard had to be replaced and after setting up Microsoft Outlook
again, I connect to the ISP Mail Server and appear to be downloading the
emails - but at the end of the download it fails.
I can use the same settings in Outlook Express and the emails download
correctly.
What do i need to do to get Microsoft Outlook working again?

Remove and re-add the account and try again.
