My office 2003 has suddenly stopped recognising acrobat ver.6.01

I am running Office 2003 Pro. and suddenly the icons in the top titlle line
for Adobe Acrobat have disapeared in word but a still there in excel. If i
try to convert a .doc document into a .pdf document nothing happens. Can
anyone explain how to rectify this problem. I have already removed and
re-installed both packages to no avail??

If you open Word 2003 and select Help > About Microsoft Word > Disabled
Items button. Is the there an addin listed for Adobe Acrobat?

PS - There are security updates available from Adobe for Acrobat 6.01. (I
think if you apply them all, you end up with 6.04)

Debtor for the aid, I tried in some ways to obtain to convert doc. word in
pdf, and did not obtain. I followed its orientation and is functioning very
well. wlasp of Brazil
