My Office 2003 is operating extremely slow. What can I do?

I deleted all of the enormous and huge files yesterday yet the speed has not
improved. This computer has an additional hardrive, as well. I'm assuming
it's not a memory issue, but not sure what to do. My inbox and outbox are
slow as well as navigating through all the Office programs. Please help!

Which mail account type are you using?
How big is your pst-file?
Does it work faster when working in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
(note the space in the command)

If it performs better now, your issue is likely to be caused by an add-in
you have installed. To troubleshoot see;
