Slow Typing with bullet text

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC We've noticed this behavior in PowerPoint on several computers running Office 2008. We have a Mac Mini and a Mac Book Pro as well as an older G5 that exhibit this behavior. If text is formatted to have bullets, adding or editing text is extremely slow. If we make our own bullets rather than using the built-in feature, using Option+8 to create a basic bullet, adding or editing text works at a normal speed. Has anyone seen this behavior or know what may be causing it? Thanks!
