my Office 2003 (Word) is not functioning. How do i get it to open.

What happens when you try? Any error messages? Try and rename normal.dot to
normal.old What happens then ?

Is there anything working in your office suite? For example is excel
working? If so then you need to do "help, detect & repair" as
somebody has already suggested.

If nothing is working then you will need your original CD/DVD and re-
install the suite from scratch. This means you will need your serial
number all over again but this can be obtained by using the
appropriate tool already available out there in the wild.

You also need to fix your system clock as it is not showing the
correct time as it should be on this planet.
